COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update
Following the recent postponement of Hamilton at the Majestic Theatre, we are pleased to announce we have been able to reschedule Hamilton to June 20- July 2, 2023.
There is nothing for you to do at this time, your seats remain secure and your original ticket will be honored for the new performance dates. Please note: if you’ve transferred or resold any of your tickets for Hamilton, it is your responsibility to share this email with the ticket holder attending the show.
Despite a delay to the start of the Broadway in San Antonio, we have amazing news to share with you – we have rescheduled all but 2 shows currently announced to play San Antonio, and are thrilled to announce the return of Hamilton! Plus, we have added Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to complete the Season.
Want to be there for the return to the stage? The best way to guarantee your seats is buying a 7 or 8-show subscription package now. We hope you will join us at the Majestic Theatre later this year for this spectacular roster of shows. Once you purchase a 7-show season package, you will have priority access later this spring to secure your same package seats for Hamilton.

We are working diligently to reschedule TOOTSIE, BEAUTIFUL(Season Option),TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, MEAN GIRLS, and Disney’s THE LION KING to come to the Majestic Theatre, and will be in touch as soon as we have an update.
Disney’s THE LION KING, previously scheduled for December 17 – January 10, 2021, has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date. It will still be part of your season. We are working diligently to reschedule Disney’s THE LION KING to come to San Antonio. We will be in touch as soon as we have an update.
MY FAIR LADY, previously scheduled for September 22-27, 2020, has been rescheduled for September 21-26, 2021.
JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, previously scheduled for December 1-6, 2020, has been rescheduled for July 20-25, 2021
SUMMER: THE DONNA SUMMER MUSICAL has been added to the 2020/2021 season in place of THE CHER SHOW, and will play June 22-27, 2021.
2020/2021 subscribers will keep your same subscription seats for MY FAIR LADY, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, and SUMMER, and will receive all tickets later this fall.
We are pleased to announce that RENT, previously scheduled for May 1-3, 2020, has been rescheduled for June 4-6, 2021 at the Majestic Theatre. The performance previously scheduled for May 3, 2020 at 8:00PM has been cancelled.
We are currently in the process of contacting all RENT ticketbuyers regarding next steps. For immediate assistance, please contact your original point of purchase
THE CHER SHOW is postponing its tour and will no longer be part of the upcoming season. We are working hard to find another title to replace THE CHER SHOW next season. 2020-2021 Broadway in San Antonio subscribers you will be the first to know when a new show is confirmed. Please rest assured, if we are unable to find a replacement, refunds and credits will be offered. At this time, no action is required.
Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, the upcoming engagement of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Majestic Theatre has been canceled. Ticket holders will be contacted by email by their point of purchase. If you have any questions, please contact your point of purchase.
It is clear that for the health and safety of our community, the planned engagement of RENT will not be able to proceed as planned. We are working with the show’s producers to reschedule the upcoming performances of RENT, originally scheduled for May 1-3, 2020.
Please hold on to your tickets while we work on new dates for RENT in San Antonio. We will be in touch as soon as possible with an update on the status of this show.
